The Corolla Fielder 1.5 L Hybrid combines a 1.5-litre petrol engine (the 1NZ-FXE) with an electric motor, using a CVT (continuously variable transmission) and front-wheel drive.  The hybrid system delivers smooth, efficient power and excellent fuel economy — under ideal conditions, it can achieve around 33–34 km per litre (≈ 3.0 L/100 km).

Despite being compact, the Fielder is surprisingly practical: it’s a 5-door wagon that seats five, and its rear seats fold flat to create a spacious cargo area — handy for grocery runs, luggage, or even bulky items like bicycles or camping gear.  Its overall dimensions strike a balance between easy city maneuverability and usable interior space, making it a good match for urban driving or daily commuting.

On the comfort and convenience side, many hybrid trims come with modern amenities: a decent infotainment setup, smooth-shift CVT driving, and a relatively refined ride. In addition, many models include the safety suite Toyota Safety Sense, offering features such as pre-collision warning, lane-departure alert, and automatic high-beams — a plus for driver safety.
